The Old and the New

It's funny how things turn out. This picture was on a friend's Facebook page. I found myself thinking how sad it was that this beautiful building is about to be demolished. Still, with endings come new opportunities and it will be fascinating watching what goes up in its place.

So we find ourselves nearing the end of a ten year journey with LearnEX. Of course, our final chapter is not nearly so significant as this and thankfully we haven’t suffered devastation or anything of the like. In the end, life just got too busy and family priorities had to come first. But, it is sad going through everything for the last time.

Other businesses have offered to carry on with most of our lines and the volunteer work that has been done (curriculum advice, helping with Exemptions etc.) will be taken over by The Firelight Foundation www.firelightfoundation.co.nz . Firelight will continue with running conferences and other events as it has done for a number of years. I will continue the work I have started with Cambridge Exam Solutions www.cambridgeexamsolutions.co.nz, with helping home educators gain total, permanent and nationwide access to Cambridge Exams.

On a practical level, as the financial end of year rolls around on Saturday, we need to clear out as much as possible before stocktake so we have a massive stock reduction sale on our website www.learnex.co.nz at present*. All items are discounted by a minimum of 30-50%. We are also offering FREE FREIGHT on every NZ order in addition to these discounts. Offer is open until midnight on Friday 30th of March.

Please be patient as we are likely to be very busy during this time. Orders will be turned around as quickly as possible after payment has been received. If you miss out on a product because it sells out, you will be advised and your money for that item refunded.

Our 0800 number will cease on the 31st but you can still call 09 269 3532 or email us until further notice if you have any queries.

In April, we will send a further email out advising of the new suppliers and their contact details.

Orders may be made up until that time via phone, email orders@learnex.co.nz , web or fax as per usual.

Thanks to you all for your tremendous and overwhelming support of us over the years. It has been wonderful meeting many of you and a privilege helping you on your educational journeys.
